I Was SO Mad!

I Was SO Mad!

I’m a mom. That’s my earthly joy,my first job, my first responsibility, my heart. As a mom, some of the funnest times I’ve ever had with my boys were helping them learn to read. Some of the books  my boys learned to read with (and memorized) was Mercer Mayers “Little Critter” series. We love those books! They are simple, easy to read and always speak of some important lesson in a very understandable way. One of them is called “I Was So Mad”. You can imagine what the plot is, so I won’t go into it. I came across this book the other day while cleaning up some stuff in my boys’ room. It made me think. How would I feel if somebody I know, maybe even a friend, knew of a simple, cheaper way to do something and chose NOT to share it with me? I would be SO mad! You see, I believe that if you know a better way to do something you should tell people about it! Especially if it involves money! Let’s face it, in this economy, we can all use the help. If you are a customer of Thrifty Shoppers please tell your friends! We want to get the word out about our services and our classes. Please leave us any ideas you might have about how we can advertise effectively.

Just So You Know

Just So You Know

Sometimes it seems people are confounded by the simplest things. Being a natural blond, I feel perfectly comfortable saying that! But seriously, something that you and I might take completely for granted could be the one thing that someone else simply can’t get a grasp of. For instance, at Thrifty Shoppers headquarters, we received a message that someone thought our list was a complete waste of money. Mind you, this person didn’t actually purchase our whole list, but rather took the free trial and formed this opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I totally respect that. But, what I think is that this person simply doesn’t understand what our list is. It is a compilation of roughly 20 different weekly sales ads, catagorized and alphabetized for your convenience. You can take this list to ONE place, WAL MART, and match every price! The lowest possible price! No ads to carry along, no hassle of driving to 20 different places, no arguing, no embarrassment. It’s SO easy! Maybe there are folks who really do not understand the Price Matching Concept, so I hope I have cleared it up with my explanation! If you have questions, or comments, please don’t hesitate to send us an e mail at thriftyshoppers@ymail.com. Happy Shopping~

Who We Are & What We Do

I suppose I should have written this post 1st instead of 9th! But, here we are, so let’s press on!

We are Rhema Carr and Lori Thomas. We are a couple of stay at home moms (almost) who decided we had a product that could really help people! We were doing Price Match Lists for ourselves for quite awhile before we went into business!Originally, we thought it might be a fun way to help our friends out, and so Rhema began making the weekly list and just forwarding it to friends on Facebook. Then it began to take hold, and grew beyond Facebook! Now, well, now its becoming a full time job! And we couldn’t be happier!

What we do is compile weekly Price Match Lists that can be used at Wal Mart per their Ad Match guarantee. This allows you, the customer, to get the lowest possible price on everything from avocados to tin foil!We also have a Sunday Price Match List that includes the lowest prices from the large retail stores and drug store chains whose circulars come with the Sunday paper. Our charge is only $2 per list. Considering the savings that are possible, it really is an incredible deal. We would be happy to have you as a customer! If you have questions, please e mail us at thriftyshoppers@ymail.com. We also hold classes on exactly how to use coupons and price matching to achieve maximum savings at the grocery store! Our classes include 3 hours of instruction as well as organizational tools to help you get started.

We are a small business with a big future! We hope you can be part of it!To start receiving our lists, please contact us by e mail at thriftyshoppers@ymail.com.We accept payment via PayPal at thriftyshoppers@ymail.com.

The Beginning

Today, Thrifty Shoppers Launched a new product! The 7 DAY MEAL PLAN based on the latest Weekly Price Match List. It includes 7 meals that are dinner worthy! It also includes a shopping list for these meals and a breakdown of the cost of each meal. In case you’re wondering, each meal averaged 1.93 per person! Thats pretty good considering they are all very basic, easy meals. Im quite sure you could find a cheaper way to feed a family, but at my house, we are very “meat and potatoes”. We dont really eat much processed food, so each meal has actual “courses”. Our meal plan is based on a family of 4. Of course, if you need less food, your cost would be less. I really do like the idea of a plan! How bout you?
